Symantec customer service - excellent

Had a problem with the online renewal of my antivirus subscription & was overcharged. I e-mailed Symantec support at 9.10 pm and less than half an hour later received a 'phone call from them.

The problem was resolved in minutes & I was promised a refund of the amount I had been overcharged.

At 9.44 pm I received a confirmation e-mail of what had been agreed.

Now that is what I call impressive. Makes a change from the usual poor service I receive from other suppliers!

found the suport live chat had greatly improved when i used it last week. looks like they are finally taking notice of the hundreds deserting to avast and avg and starting to improve.

Too late for me. I switched out my last NIS 2007 machine to Avast and ZoneAlarm last week, with six months of the licence left to run. I have never dealt with worse customer services (and I've been around a while now).
