Strato "free" .eu domain offer ....

Did anyone else sign up for a "free for a year" .eu mail domain as recently advertised here?

If so, did you ever get a response from Strato?

Considering that they had a fair number to give away, I suppose there is a backlog in administration to those that were successful.

The .eu domains were not cheap, and I would think that the renewal charges in the second year, will come as a surprise to some people.

OK, I'm giving upon Strato can't get anywhere with them. They're very polite, "Greetings from Berlin" and all, that but still no result. It's kind of worrying they've got my credit card details, but there you go.

Anyone suggest a reliable hosting company that offers a domain name with email?

I have used them for (I think) 5 or 6 years.

All of a sudden it's all systems go and Strato have done their stuff.

My .eu domain and email account should now be up and running, so credit where it's due.
