Strange Attachment from Microsoft ?

Had an e-mail(with attachment)today that was supposed to be from Microsoft (Security Program)
I deleted it without opening it. Why would Microsoft want to send me an attachment ? Seemed
a bit suspicious. It's too easy to get paranoid about Internet worms etc.

Microsoft NEVER send any emails with attachments...it is a virus. Deleting it will be OK.

Check the source of any messages you get from suspicious sources... I've now had several of these emails and among the actual senders were :
[email protected] and [email protected] - at a guess i'd say those aren't likely to be official Microsoft email addresses....

Thanks - I'll get myself a Mailwasher. I suppose I ought to have clicked Block Sender in the Inbox, but I just deleted the whole thing pronto.
