Small claims court

Just a quick question, if you take someone to the small claims court and win do you get the £30.00 cost of the claim back as well as the money they owe you?.

I think it gets added to, or you claim for your ligit expences. I got mine back, but that was 16 years ago.

It depends on the adjucator.
In theory a win means you are fully recompensed, but it is seldom that simple.

Actually receiving the money can become quite difficult, there are all sorts of legal pathways for an artful dodger to spoil an otherwise happy result.

in a small claims action if he/she/they wish to claim any expenses against the other side.

As Diemmess suggested, actually receiving any money, if you win, can still be an obstacle if the other person knows the ropes, and doesn't wish to pay.

A happy ending, after no end of phone calls (its cost me more in phone calls than the product is worth ) and e-mails, they finally answered the phone and I was able to cancel the order and get a refund.
Now I can start all over again, any one recommend a reputable firm that sells XD card readers.

I went to 7Day shop, ordered on monday, it arrived on friday, and it was £2 less than what I had payed to BCS, so a good result.
