Seeking fine art paper for HP A3 printer

  Kemistri 22:31 08 Feb 2008

Not my printer, I must admit. I wish! But a mate of mine has just acquired an HP 9180 A3 behemoth -- much to the chagrin of his wife -- and he wants some HP-branded fine art and/or canvas paper for it.

I pretty much only buy paper from Choice's Think range, so I'm not very familiar with the best/cheapest paper suppliers for specialist premium papers like that.

Any suggestions?

I get mine from:

all supply good products at reasonable prices and the first one does an excellent range of non-HP papers and canvas as well.

Its a superb rpinter capable of outstanding results - if he sells his prints he could well pay for his printer in less than 6 months (I did!)

The suppliers list by BW are super sites and good quality.
I have found that for experimental work , but still with good results Art shop Canvas that has been primed with Acrylic works well too.
This I have found in A4 pads for about a £1
And from time to time- 99p shop has an 'Art' splurge and includes primed cotton canvas in rolls
150x50 cm triple Acryic Gesso primed 280gsm
for --yup 99p

It is called 'Artmate' and the box end has this ledgend
'Impressionist PO Box 7012 Daventry NN11 1AB
