Currently use a PackardBell Diamond 1200 plus scanner and am looking to up grade. Mostly use the thing for OCR, copying, etc of printed stuff. Have done a few photographs. I would welcome any recommendations. Taa

Remember the old adage. If it ain't broke don't fix it. If your scanner (which incidentally is a Mustek 1200UC rebadged) is working OK and doing what you want it to do why change?

But here are an awful lot of scanners for you to look at. click here

I have an Epson Perfection 3170 Photo scanner. It scans everything and includes a film and slide adapter, click here

Canon LiDE80. Brilliant, and cheap.

Would endorse HondaMan's recommendation. LiDE 80
Quick, smooth and giving very good results. Including neg and pos scanning.

If you're on a tight budget and don't need the facility of a film scanner, this could be the one to go for click here
