sat nav advise please

  Newuser2 20:05 16 Jul 2005

I'm looking at buying a sat nav unit. Primarily for use in the car.
I've done a bit of research, they all seem to come with maps of the UK & Europe, but I would also like if possible to be able to buy maps for the USA as I plan to tour round on holidays, the prices I've been quoted for the US maps seem very expensive.
Any thoughts or advise great fully received.

The Garmin i3 streetpilot is available on the high street for around £169. I have been using it for a week or two and I can recommend it. Don't be put off by its small size, as the display is very clear. Speed cameras positions can be easily downloaded, so it has a dual role. See click here

Can i ask where you've seen or got it for £169?
