Blimey - talk about opening a can of worms.

While I agree that something has to be done about piracy, I too would also be annoyed if I found that my pc had stuff installed on it without my knowledge or consent( if it hasn't been done already).

I have many Sony/BMG discs that have copy protection, some of which crash one of my computers when inserted into the drive!

Out of curiosity I tried the link in the article for the Sony patch, but 404 error.

Truly amazing.

DRM is heading for a big fall IMHO, and the giant media copanies will have brought this down on their own heads.

If only this could be made required reading for their apologists.
