I have the DSC-P5 and highly recommend it, just be sure to get a large memory stick as the small one that comes with the camera isn't really up to the job, also make sure you buy a case for the camera to attach it to your belt as I don't think even the newer ones come with one. I've taken the most amazing photos, brilliant colours and contrast. The great thing about it is the size, you'll always have it with you. And you can take some mpegs too.

Go to Dixons and have a look at it before you buy.

I have the DSC-P71,great camera, easy to use, great photos, as mdshamilton advises get larger memory sticks and also extra rechargable batteries and a case.
