Repair and refund issue

  Adam Patrick 22:27 02 Aug 2007

Have recently bought a well reviewed PC (by PC Advisor) from Cyber Power Systems, which has since gone back for repair as I never worked.

Cyber Poer Ststems do not 100% know the problem but think I will need a replacement motherboard and/or graphics card.

I am worried that if Cyber Power can't find the cause of the problem, I may be stuck with a £1300 PC that can never be used, as I have heard that once a PC has gone back for repair, the buyer is no longer entitled to a full refund.

Cyber Power Systems said yesterday I have a 45 day period in which I can get refunded, but they didn't say whether this would stil apply when PC has finished being repaired.

Does any one have experiences with Cyber Power Systems?

So basically, does anyone know if I will still be entitled to a refund even I accept PC needs repairing. Does anyone have similar experiences?

Any advice would be appreciated
