NEC ND-2510 8x DVD±R/RW 2.4x DVD+R9 (Dual layer) Writerfor £68!click here
yeah seen the NEC ND-2510,seems to be alot of people talikng about them, are they any good?Sparrowhawk do you have one?
We have four of the NEC models. They do exactly as they are claimed to do and I have no complaint - except perhaps we bought them when they were quite a bit more expensive than they are now!€d
I have not yet one, but I will go for it at this price.I was tempted by 8X Dual-layer Sony only 10 days ago, but it was nearly 3X the price (it was £150).Prices of DVD writers seem to be moving again, which is good for us.Soon you will see 12X Dual-layer...I think a 8X Dual-layer from a first class manufacturer at £68 cannot be a bad bargain.
Scan are doing the NEC 2510 for £52·29 this weekend.click here€d
Plus delivery too I would expect.
Two years or so ago CD-RW writers were priced well into three figures - my own TDK Cyclone 12x10x40 was listed at £189 - but now you can get maximum speed top brand models for £20 upwards. It will be the same eventually with DVD rewriters - the technology is basically the same and there is no reason for the excessive price margins being sought by manufacturers or rebranded versions.
