previous occupiers deliveries

  citadel 20:13 08 Aug 2008

In the last few days I have come in from work to find parcels on the doorstep addressed to the former resident of my rented house.
the driver has left them without anyone signing for them as I live alone. I have lived here for 5 months but the orders for the goods from bid tv have been made in the last week as far as I can tell.

Drop them off at PO

Safest thing to do is return them, and get proof of postage.

Contact the retailers involved and ask them to pick up the goods at their expense.

Stuartli is correct and if they don't pick them up they become your property as unsolicited goods, I believe, after a period of time.

Has paid for this stuff/
What are THEY doing about its non arrival at new locale?

  Pamy 17:54 09 Aug 2008

citadel, so what have you decided to do, who's advise are you taking?

  citadel 18:27 09 Aug 2008

I am going to wait and see what happens. I do not want to have to pay any postage or waste one of my holidays to wait in for a collection.
