Praise where it's due

Woke up this morning to find my internet connection had disappeared. Ran through the usual routine of rebooting everything and retrying to connect, no luck. A free phone call to Virgin Media (india) run some diagnostic checks, during this short time an engineer booked to arrive before 12, he arived 11:30 replaced the cable modem and I'm back online before 12, not bad service considering it's a bank holiday.

it's excellent service, and may be an indication that some companies are alive to the fact that customers might not be quite so easy to come by (or to hold onto) over the next year or two.
