Portable DVD players

Can anyone recommend a good portable DVD player for under £150.00. Going on holiday soon which includes some long flights so looking for one of these to use mainly on the plane.

Need decent battery life, picture and sound of course. Not too worried about the size of the unit but some reviews have mentioned the units being noisy, is that noisy enough to disturb other people?

Thanks guys

I've had a Wharfedale WDP-1210 for 18 months and, somewhat to my surprise, have been /extremely/ pleased with it. The display is 10" widescreen, i.e. an inch or more bigger than the usual crop.

It looks to be identical to No. 7 on p882 of the current Argos catalogue (533/4692) and well inside your budget.

Negligible noise. Battery life is good for at least 2 hours but, frankly, barely enough e.g. for a longer film. Display excellent and good brightness control. Sound very good but bass not brilliant unless you use headphones to suit, e.g. Sennheiser, when it's much improved.

There's some good user-reviews on click here. HTH. E&OE!!

Plenty here:

my friend has the Matsui which is very good.

Can't vouch for the battery life though.
