Had a problem with a DVB receiver emailed tech support no reply other than a auto responce tried
again same thing no responce,some customer sevice PHILIPS HAVE TO OFFER.

I contacted Philips a while back about getting a replacement remote control and was pleasantly suprised by their rapid response, and direction to get a replacement, and would rate them very highly

Like jjcuk i have not any problems with their service when i have had to use.But i did contact them by telephone not e-mail.

My mother managed to stand on her remote control for her Philips TV.

The TV was 9 months old.

I sent a letter to Philips Customer Service Dept asking how I could get a new remote control unit and I was delighted when they sent a NEW replacement unit free of charge within a week.

I do wonder, though, why there is such variance with a company's responses. Perhaps it depends on the person whose desk your request for help lands on?
