What system do you have i.e. Specs? As most Cards/Software are very 'choosy'.

you need to get Matrox RT.X10 (it is a professional product come with the best editing program Adobe Premier) which costs over £500

if you want to do cheaply, you need to have two different card

DV: you just need a firewire card: Ebuyer PCI Firewire 1394A Card with 3 External and 1 Internal Port £10.96 click here

AV: Leadtek WinFast TV2000 XP Expert £32.96, it come with a very good video editing software Ulead Videostudio (cost over £30 itself) click here

I can echo what TomJerry says. I have the Matrox with Adobe Premier Pro which is very good though has so many features that you may not need, depending on what finished product you want.

tomjerry&spaglish

thanks for help.
the £500 is a bit to much, arround £100-150 i was thinking about.

i would like a fairly good quality end product.

what do you think of pinnacle studio v.9, with a pci card inc, from e-buyer for £ 104.36
just purchased februarys pc pro mag, has 8 video-editing software on test.
