I am looking to buy a PC Base unit, and i have come across a company called PC Specialists.co.uk, Has anybody used this company before ? Being a novice so to speak, I am not sure what companies are good that can build base units,i am looking to spend about £500/£600 on a Mid Spec Pc, I have been told to get a intel duo core.

Any advice would be welcome.

Novatech have a very good reputation both for their goods and for after sales service. click here bear in mind you have to choose a monitor seperatly and if you want to play games you need a good graphics card. And if you're getting Vista which I assume you will be get a minimum of 1 gig memory, better still 2 gig as Vista is very memory hungry.

Thanks for quick reply, I have a monitor and keyboard, Also i have looked at Novatech and there 'Isys Max Pro' Model looked the best for me. But i need to call them as i am not sure if this model comes with a Firewire connection as i need this for Video Editing.

Its worth an email or phone call to ask.

If the system suits you and it doesn't have firewire then its not a major problem to fit a firewire card like this click here but I would want to confirm with Novatech that it does work with Vista just to be safe.

I think you will find that a lot of PCs don't have firewire.

People have been giving Cougar very good reviews click here
