PAYG who's the best

  packettracer 11:12 06 Aug 2006

I'm on Pay-as-you-go with o2 but am looking to change my package. Would like say 200 free texts a month + 30 minutes of free calls.

Does anyone do this on PAYG?

Have a look at Tesco:

and Virgin:

Virgin, which uses T-Mobile's network, can carry over your current phone number.

I've been with Virgin since August 2000 on PAYG and my credits don't expire, whereas my other half, on O2, loses them after a certain period.

To be honest, as my mobile was acquired for emergency purposes only, I've still got some credit left on what is only my second £10 voucher in nearly six years...:-)

None of the networks give such a good deal to Pay As You Go customers as O2 online for spending so little.

For putting £10 on my phone a month, I get 300 texts a month free, 20% discount off chargeable calls (o2 treats), free weekend calls and then 10% off my top ups back at the end of every 3months!

You can move your o2 to number to o2 online by phoning customer care.
