What I like to ask, if opting out, would I loose access to a number of websites ?

You'll still see ads when you visit sites, but they won't be targeted - the ad server will recognise the opt-out cookie on your machine, and will deliver a non-targeted ad.

Remember that if you clear your cookie cache at any point you'll also delete the opt-out cookie, so you'll need to visit the site and go through the opt-out process again.

The adverts help keep your use of the Internet free....worth remembering.

It all started from someone posting in one of the yahoo groups I use, got a little worried, thinking about it there must be millions of people who wouldn't know or see this ever like BT Broadband users as BT Yahoo software are the same.
Better to get a second opinion though.

Thanks.
