Can anyone tell me what the difference between a Geforce FX5600 and a Geforce FX5600XT is? Is the XT just a cheapo version of the 5600

XT is a cut down version. This is a really clever/bad thing that nVidia have done. The XT badge is for ATIs top of the range cards and for AMDs FX stupidly-expensive-and-fast CPU. Therefore people will think that the FX is a very fast card and because it's so cheap and they'll buy them. Purposefully misleading. Thanks nVidia...
