ntl broadband speed

iam currently using ntl 1mb service which is 17.99 but in reading the link says going to 10mb can anyone clarify if this is true and if it will incur a price increase also when next year this will happen

although how that's of any use once ISPs start reporting on their customers' downloads I don't know.

what else can i download at 10mb apart from the obvious...?

long long story ,but all NTL customers are being migrated to 10megs ,at no extra cost as such but price will now depend on your download amounts.3 meg are starting to migrate as of 8th this month.then 2 meg in the new year finally us on 1meg sometime during 2006.by the way if your on digitaltv/phone/broadband gove 0800 052 200 a bell and like me go on 3 for £30,even as an existing customer.
