I just wish I had waited ,tied with BT broadband for another 10 months.

they are not technically the cheapest broadband providers!!!!

NTL have it for £14.99 and thats through a cable modem.

With Gio you have to subscribe to BT phone line as well!!!

hmmm... is it legal they say they are the cheapest when they are quite literaly not?

I think you will find that £14.99 is for 128k
with ntl
And GIO internet are offering ADSL 512k broadband for £17.99
A big difference and as Express news group and google both agree its the cheapest, who are we to argue?

I notice the offer is 'available for a limited time only'.Will this mean a sharp price rise !!.

If you look in the sign up section it says:

'Signup for Dial-up/ISDN/Broadband Services

Before you sign-up please make sure:

You have a BT or NTL phone line
You have your Credit Card details ready
A printer / pen & paper to note down your registration name/password details'

It looks like you can use them through NTL as well.

Gio Internet arn't really "new" they have been out for a while now although I am unable to comment on their service personally.

What you may have to consider is the price they are re-selling the BT service for - they are making very little, if no, profit, and the service, while cheap, may end up not being viable.

It may pay you to do a little research at the following before making a decision -

the ntl 128k connection is not broadband its the equivilent to 2 channel isdn but i would be very cautious of someone so cheap, the service is PROBABLY apauling.
Also adsl is not availible thro ntl as they have cable exchanges not dsl.
Altho i might look into them and cancel mine as i only need give a months notice
