A new printer and TFT monitor - what to buy?

  Antonialouise 22:22 26 Jan 2006

Hope you can help. Looking to get a new printer and also a TFT monitor?

Ideally would like printer to be able to print off the occasional photo but that's all really, nothing that special needed.

Monitor wise, can anyone recommend the best type to get and most economical? Would ideally like a good picture for games and if possible one on which I could watch movies.

If there's any I should steer clear of, that'd be great to know too.

I can recommend the Samsung 913N click here

It's a 19" for under £200, has an 8 ms repsonse time so no blurring when playing games or watching movies and has different preset for when watching DVD's or general computer use

Samsung 931BF for me too - great monitor.
4ms response time and 700:1 contrast ratio.
Decent quality prints, including photos, for a great price - Epson D88.

Sorry, I meant 930BF.
