I am looking for a new printer in the £120 to £150 region. Ideally borderless prints, top loading paper tray and up to A4 colour prints.I have seen the PCA top reviewed Canon i865 but was wondering what alternatives were available and best place to buy online.

click here click here click here click here put the printer you want find the cheapest price. Would advise not to buy from any of the French companies (ie pixmania)You can get that printer from Comet for about £130.

Got the i950 and its absolutely superb, you can get a test print from the canon website.

Not found anywhere cheaper than here for original consumables click here

Believe it or not, I use an Epson Stylus CX3200 printer/scanner(about £100). It is not claimed to be a photo quality printer, but I am delighted with the results on A4. I have been into 35 mm photography slide work for years and I would consider myself pretty picky. However I always up the contrast in software by about 20% to get these good results. If you do a search on this site I'm sure you will find lots of other opinions.

I am tending towards the Canon i865 but Canon i560 also looks ok but cheaper. I think I'll get a print on each from Canon to compare.

You wo't go far wrong with Canon. I have an i850 which is excellent and have recently bought an i865 for a friend and it is a great and good quality output.

I have the Epson 915 printer. Takes all camera cards directly (ie. you can print directly from a card without the computer being switched on) Does borderless prints and replacement ink cartridges from click here are £25.49 for 4 colour and 4 black chipped and ready to go. It also comes with Epson Photoquicker, a really good quick print option.
