Need NEW budget PC

  harrylloyd1992 15:57 12 May 2009

Hi there.

I have no experience with Desktop PC's. I only have experience with laptops.

Im looking for a good, all round budget PC that can be used by the whole family and not overheat after a few hours.

I dont need a lot of hardrive space, nor high ram capacity, (2gb would be nice). I don't need a brilliant graphics card either, as i dont play games.

I would like a monitor included, but that isn't necerssary.

also, if i bought a hp desktop pc without a monitor then i bought a dell monitor seperately, would they be compatible or not allowed because of the two companies?

No reason why they wouldn't be compatible

However, Dell weekend offers should get you a desktop for not much more than £300 which will do what you want

If you don't need a monitor they will knock the cost of that off the deal

Get a basic price off their web site and then ring up and haggle. Don't buy extra warranty. If it works for 90 days it'll go till you are ready to buy a new one
