NEC after sales support

After reading some of the nightmares of after-sales support I have to mention the brilliant after-sales from NEC (a guy called Mike Bull).

Bought an NEC ND1300A DVD duel format DVD writer and had problems form day one. Spoke to the supplier (Bigpockets) and they suggested that NEC already had the answers to most problems so I should talk to them.

I did. By phone & email they have kept in touch until the problem was identified as "some sort of conflict" with an HP CD writer on the same PC - disconnected it and, "Hey presto" everything works just fine.

No premium rate calls, a company that rings me (including my mobile number) and stays with me until the problem goes away.....what more could I ask for??

Well done NEC.

By the way the DVD writer is brilliant (and thanks to -pops- for his help along the way, it was really useful for trying to solve the problems)
