My son is looking at buying a new phone click here it is on the 3 network. Does anyone know if it can be used on the Virgin network instead. It would need unlocking from 3. Where/who would unlock it.

He has seen it for £45.
I think it is cheap as 3 are struggling for customers, but in our house we are all on the virgin network. ( a lot cheaper than 3!!!)

I know it is not strictly a pc question but it does connect to the pc for music and picture transferring.

Hello. Be carefull with 3, they seem to do something with their mobiles, so it's harder to unlock them. That's what I understand, reading on some of the mobile phone forums.

Thanks for that I will have you look at some of the forums, do you have any links?

Some of their tariffs are not very good if you do not use all of the air time each month you loose it. That is why I wanted him to use the Virgin network, he does not use that much each month.

The phone is from Dixons. click here It is their special offer on the home page, in the Link shops it is £50.
