Music editing S/W needed

  Skeletor 13:16 28 Mar 2006

My daughter has a dance exam coming up. She has the music that she wants to use, but it is too long, so needs a couple of sections edited out and a fade created.

I just need something very basic and preferably free.

I have Nero Wave Editor which I think may do what I want, but unfortunately I don't have time to experiment, as my daughter needs the music yesterday, and the user guide is next to useless. Can anyone confirm that this will do what I want.

Many thanks,

As far as I remember (its a long time since I used Nero wave editor as I found it wasn't the most intuitive of programs!), it will do what you want.

Alternatively you could try Audacity from click here which looks as if it might do the job or you could try WavePad from click here

oops! Just realised, I've posted in the wrong forum.

Thanks GroupFC,

Just had a quick play with Nero Wave Editor and it does seem to do what I want.

"oops! Just realised, I've posted in the wrong forum" - good job I looked in then!

I have never been with nero before . I hope click here
FlexiMusic Wave Editor which i am using right now will help you to do your work at the earliest.
