Multimedia Laptop?

  geezerpete 13:15 03 Jan 2007

I want a laptop so that I can download and edit my home movies and burn to DVD and also for storing all my photos and music. Its got to produce good picture and sound at a reasonable price. Probably in the region of £500-600. Has anyone got any advise. Thanks

Try Woolworths or Dell?

You probably need to find another £300, there will be those that say they can, at that price point, but I think you would be disappointed by the performance.

Be prepared to use headphones. Two 2.5cm Speakers really don't have much of a chance of making "good" sound.

Thanks for the help guys. Could you advise which model is the best to go for if I were to spend more money?

Must say after visiting PCWorld they have a few good ones going cheaply at the moment!
