Can anyone recommend an MP3 player that uses USB2, or is USB1.1 fast enough

Thanks

The Muvo2 4Gb is very good - nice sound, well made (unlike iPods) and good value. And 4Gb should be plenty.

Another vote for the iriver. My iFP180 is the best thing I have ever bought

For pure value for money (design could have been better) Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox 3 (20Gb) - 5000 tunes @ 128Kbps AND only £150 on Amazon at the moment.(Paid over £300 for mine a year and half ago!)

In answer to your other question, I have found firewire to be much faster than USB2 (It's not supposed to be), but for music and backing up mp3s, it seems to fly in comparison.
It also depends on how many tracks you're loading/ripping. My nephew bought a Nomad 2 with USB2, but doesn't have a USB2 socket, so using the backwards compatible USB1, a 4Mb song will take a couple of seconds from Mp3 to player.(and they have a slow PC)

and more thing, the iRiver iHP120/140 comes with a remote control...........
