Moving from AOL

Finally took the plunge and have signed up to O2 and got my AOL MAC code. Does anyone know if I have to tell AOL to cancel my contract with them, or does the switch to O2 automatically trigger this?

I don't blame you to sacking AOL,

From what they told me when you move to your new isp your account is automatically closed from your last billing date, but if I remember rightly you may have to phone them.

Any others care to comment on this??

You should find most of the information from Ofcom click here click here

I would say always contact the company you are leaving and keep a record of it.

Firstly it is courteous to the company and secondly, if there any problems with billing, you have the correspondence as back up your claim that you are no longer being serviced by them.
