Hi all, I am currently considering buying a TFT Monitor and came across a proviev 15" model namely the proview cy-565. It is on sale at pc world for £189.00 which is almost £100 cheaper than I have seen it at other places. Unfortunately I am unable to find any reviews on it on the web and was just wondering if anyone has one or knows anyone who has one, and could tell me if it is any good and worth buying.

Cheers in advance
Andy

Have you seen the threads on 17" TFTs at Staples, although out of stock at present and due in late Juanuary, for £298. My advice is to wait a bit as they are coming down month by month.

Could be the same model as some manufactures use different codes for different countries.

You can buy 15in TFTs from about £169 including VAT upwards from leading outlets.

There are several threads on the subject in the forums.

Hope you get more responses with places/ideas/experience.

But for now, how about we all buy nothing for 3 weeks, just visit/phone/contact all suppliers and ask for details, then walk away muttering "... too much, cheaper elsewhere ..." etc..

Then we wait.

They all hit slumps in Feb as credit cards/Xmas bills/heating bills rise up.

Then we buy.

Is this a plan?
