to web designers, and is why most of us optimise our site designs to look their best in Internet Explorer.

Well - they did not ask me! And I prefer using Mozilla most of the time. Each to his (or her) own I suppose. Think its perhaps a good idea to have more than browser installed. Easy to check should one go faulty.

I have to say I'm not surprised, but as a devout Firebird user I have to say slightly dissapointed.

Thats not exactly accurate though, what about the browsers that spoof themselves as IE just to get web sites to run properly. I remember a few months back when the Argos website claimed it wouldn't run on anything except IE, so I just told Mozilla to send the IE string and voila, the site worked fine.

How come AOL isnt there? I dont use AOL, in fact if I was to show my dislike in AOL I would be banned from the forum, so I'll refrain from doing so. I know AOL is seen as a retarded version of the net, but there still are many people using it.

Netscape....I thought that was a 1 of the more popular alternatives to IE.

AOL is just Internet Explorer in disguise.
