I've used W2000 for years a good stable system
but fed up with the poor support microsoft seem to give, still using WMP9 no patch given for WMP11
unable to download IE7 still waiting for a patch for this.
This is a fully supported system or suppose tobe about time Microsoft got it's finger out.

Windows 2000 is more of a corporate OS than a consumer/home user OS and I guess that Microsoft is, for home users, focusing on XP and Vista. Corporate users will be less fussed about the latest all-singing, all-dancing version of WMP and if my experience of corporate IT departments is anything to to go by, they're not in any hurry to roll out new versions of IE, either. Why don't you upgrade to XP - or even Vista when it's out in January?

click here - looks like there won't be an IE7 for Windows 2000.

Go to firefox 2 which IMO is better than firefox 1.5 and have a look at some of the add-ons like fasterfox, adblock, british dictionary, google toolbar, pdf download and colorful tabs
