MESH - Service?

2/12/10 Ordered Desktop Computer, and paid by card
delivery 10-14 working days
22/12/10 Email sent requesting delivery date of computer- no reply received.
Between 23/12-10/01/11 Numerous telephone calls made ranging from 5mins and 25mins costing £17.40 - only being told computer delivered wrong address not sure where it is.
08/1/11 Letter received from Wiltshire address advising they received our computer on 20/12, contacted MESH immediately giving all details and had to make further 2 calls before arrangements made to collect computer 06/01/11.
11/01/11 computer received by us.
Two further recorded delivery letters sent requesting reimbursement of costs - MESH replied saying no compensation policy in place despite being advised by Customer Services that our phonecalls would be reimbursed.

Oh dear yet another mesh nightmare.
We had a mesh once, poor customer service when it did not work.
We now have a novatech & what a joy to own.
No problems what so ever

There's a slight discrepancy in your timeline - you mention that you received a letter from Wiltshire on 08/1/11 and then you say Mesh made arrangement to collect the computer on 06/1/11.

Presumably that should be the other way around?

From what you've said it does look as if there might have been a courier error here, perhaps exacerbated by problems with Christmas deliveries and snow.

Hi, in response to a possible courier error, just to clear things up, the letter we received from Wiltshire on 08/01/11 was dated 03/01/11 and the person receiving the computer stated it was addressed to them and on opening it found the invoice had our address on it, they made efforts to contact us to no avail (we are not in the phone book or on twitter etc) so had to revert to writing. Not the couriers fault.
