It will earn you far more in goodwill if you give it away to a worthy cause.

Local church, charity or community centre that may still be operating on W95 or earlier.

Give it a bigger HDD, a little more Processor power if it can take an upgarde and shove a copy of XP on and you may get more.

But... PC's better than your spec are available brand new from just £299 with XP, etc...

May be just £80 for yours, sorry.

I had to sell an old 486, but ended up giving it away to a charity shop, it wouldnt sell for anything.

rickf - I have emailed you; if you are interested, please email me back. Thanks.

Being realistic, I would of though that a base unit of that spec would bring in £120-£150.

What interests me is the unusuall ",56 data fax kmodem," is this faster than the usuall one. If so I may be interested? lol

Even if you broke it down;

Board and chip, pent 111 are getting rare as hens teeth. £65.

15gig hard drive has got to be worth £15

128Mb of pc 100? getting rare. £15

floppy drive £5

modem £6 and the 98 disk £20

that comes up to £126. I think.

You can usually sell these small items for free in the local or at micro mart.

it's like an old car being worth less than the sum of its parts. (if you dont know what i mean then you have never sent a car to the breakers yard!)
