MBS, which websites?

  lisa02 14:07 16 Jul 2007

Which websites use this company's software. It'd be good to know.

A colleague has it on his system and his 15yr old son caused it. The 15yr old is strongly denying viewing porn, he said he was playing cards online.

Not being offensive but the 15 year old would say that wouldn't he? Personally I would look into the History and see if he was telling the truth.
There have been reports of some people who claim that they didn't go into the websites but so far no one has been able to replicate what they say happened - as far as I know.

I would also be interested to know if anyone knows which sites use this software - other than the porn ones.

I dunno T-B I cannot tell and have no access to the computer but my colleague had an sdult chat with his son and explained no punishment would be dealt. If it was me I'd have offered up the truth to my parents.

Anyone know the sites?

I dare say it might make MBS clients think twice if they're named.

I have this virus which has completely disabled my computer. Like an idiot I hit the free trial button on Mysexworld. Never again. What a price to pay! My computer works but at a speed which is unusable. My computer runs Windows ME. Does anyone know how to fix it?

There are several threads running in Helproom on this forum which will help you - especially the extremely long one. No need to read it all - you can skim most of it or start towards the end.

Unfortunately, if you hit the free trial and agreed to the terms and conditions, you should pay the bill. You agreed to do so.

It also collects for on-line Gaming Sites, and many sites that charge regular fees, among other things.

I think that I am right in saying that the MBS Pop-up identifies the site visited.

The quick solution is to Pay-up and Cancel your Subscription to the Mysexworld site, asap.

There is software that will remove the MBS Software, I hear but I have no idea how effective it is.

Sites seem to cause this MBS billing problem, a friend of mine admitted he had been looking at a poker site, and that caused the MBS billing pop-ups to kick in...will try and find out which one it was, but I have cleaned his PC...he may remember.

  wee eddie 16:04 16 Jul 2007

feel that he can use a site for free. I he has willingly entered into the Site and run up an Account.

You are breaking the law by removing the MBS Billing System from his PC.

"You are breaking the law by removing the MBS Billing System from his PC."

Please could you explain which law is being broken by crosstrainer. His friend may be in breach of contract with MBS but I can't see that any law has been broken.
