Have been using this program for some time and found it quite good fot IE. This version is now defunct and has been updated to AVG linkscanner. Tried it out but played havock with internet connection. Since uninstalling then no problems.
Anyone else using this; click here and have had IE not able to connect etc.?
Shame really.

The above link should be; click here .
Tried twice with this AVG program and expected updates to cure the problem. No luck.
So if you are tempted to try it out, it works for a while, then browsers begin to have problems connecting to site pages.
No choice but to try McAfee site advisor for IE. So far so good but have to accept the toolbar.

You can also use WOT it does the same job as McAfee.Remember if you are using Avg to turn the link scanner off on that or it will clash with McAfee.

Thanks buteman. Already using WOT with fire fox and wouldn't use AVG anti virus. McAfee seems to work well with far. Will try wot on IE on my vista machine.
