On Line Shopping

Of my last six `on-line purchases one was the wrong size, one was damaged due to poor packing, two were the wrong items and one was the wrong colour.

Can companies really afford to be this slipshod in these times?

It's most unusual. I've been ordering items on-line both from the UK and abroad for about 12 or 13 years and, in all that time, I've had perhaps only four or five occasions where there have been problems.

One company tried to charge me return P & P. (A separate thread!)

I told them I would keep the goods for thirty days and then sell them to defray storage expenses. They were collected next day.

They weren't all the same company, though one of them I have used before (and they have got it wrong before so they won't be used again).

I should have stuck with Amazon!
