Laptop for student

Recommendations please for laptop for 18 year old. Inexpensive but as well built and reliable as possible. Some futureproofing would be good but price more important. As decent a processor as possible and a reasonable hard drive - basically everything as good as cost allows. High end graphics and games are not an issue. Software not important.

Many thanks

We can't tell you "basically everything as good as cost allows" without knowing what cost is.

Have a look through click here. They are usually quite cheap and will give you a good idea of what you can get for your money

Sorry - meant to put price in. I've been looking at the Dell Inspiron 1300 so something around £400.
