Laptop graphics

Can anyone explain to me the difference between the Intel's 945GM Express chipset graphics adaptor and GMA 950 graphics controller, since this seems to be the only difference between two laptops costing about £100 apart.

Many thanks.

s far as I can see the Intel 945M Express chipset uses the GMA 950 graphics controller click here

So both laptops seem to offer the same graphics controller.

Errr......that should begin "As far as I can see..."

Why wont it work 11:51 29 Aug 2007

The Intel 945GM is the chipset and it(well the northbridge) physically contains the Intel 950 GMA- so either term can be used interchangably ie they're the same thing as gudgulf said.
