Hi,

I am looking to spend around £600 on a laptop, I don't play games apart from Football Manager 10 so graphics card isn't too important, looking for good processor and 4gb ram and longer the battery power the better.

I came across this

Intel® Core™ i5-520M (2.4GHz, 4 Threads, turbo Boost up to 2.93GHz, 3M cache)
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English
4096MB 1067MHz Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM [2x2048]
320GB (5,400rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive
512MB ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 4330

£599

Is that a good deal or anyone know a better one? Thanks

The spec. is fine, what is the make and model number - we might be able to point you towards some independent reviews?

Are you willing to pay £100 for 1Gb RAM, a dedicated graphics card that you don't need for the games that you play, a slightly faster CPU and an extra 120Gb of Hard drive? Because that is the premium over the middle laptop in the selection that you showed...

£100 for 1gb ram? Sorry, don't follow.

I don't play many games at the moment but that might change, the one in there isn't a top of the range one but will do if I get into a game, and I need lots of HD space.

Ahh, extra £100 for all of the things you mentioned, I follow now.

You will find a wide variety of opinions on this forum as to which is the "best" laptop to buy, some of us, me included, have had reliable results from Toshiba. Before you make your final choice take a look at what's on offer click here#$=&xcUI=profile=neutralprofile;&_ca where if the link works you should be able to make your choice using the features you need.
