I currently use Nero V6 for CD/DVD burning. Every so often I get a pop up message from them asking if I wish to upgrade to V7 at the "Special Offer" price of £47.99. The full non upgrade V7 is available from Dabs for £39.99 plus delivery which will still be less that £47.99. I'm sure that it can also be found cheaper elsewhere.

I recently bought at graphics card from Scan for £225. Play.com is advertising the same card for £412!

That's the beauty of the Internet...:-)

Re the card. It's similar, in a way, to the sale of Nescafe Original Instant coffee in some well known discount shops in my area at £1.89 or £1.99 for the 200g jars. They all have vast stocks of the product which has a long sell by date.

Only difference is that it's the Brazilian produced version, but the taste, appearance etc is to all intents the same.

Nescafe charges nearly £4 for the UK version, which is why we've stocked up...:-)
