HP warranty praise (and thanks to PC Advisor)

I got a very cheap HP/Compaq laptop from DABS which developed a spacebar problem when under warranty. Thanks to reading PC Advisor Helproom and Consumerwatch, I knew it was no use going to DABS so went straight to HP.

HP email help was prompt over the weekend and, following their advice, it became obvious that the keyboard needed replacement. Excellent, helpful phone helpline person arranged for next day collection by DHL (who also provided packaging).

Laptop returned in working order within 8 days.

Don't often see HP recommended in best buys, but this sort of service makes it worthwhile.

Also PC Advisor Consumerwatch and Helproom really rock!

In further praise of DHL,I find their drivers first rate in packaging items and doing all the necessary paperwork. Makes life very easy. Pity other companies cannot follow the examples of those mentioned in this posting.
