HP D7160 printer v Epson Photo 810

  jonmac 08:15 24 Oct 2006

I'm replacing my aging Epson Photo 810 printer and wonder if anyone can tell me about the HP Photosmart D7160. I print lots of panoramic photos 600 x 210mm.
Running costs? Speed, Quietness?

No response yet to this one so can anyone advise me as to oversaturated colours produced by the D7160 which I read about in a test?

This is a beauty if you have the cash to keep the ink supplied!
It is now better than the HP Photosmart models.
I know 2 professional photographers that use this one or the A3 equivilent.

Thanks Marleyman
My printers so far have been Epson, ...but..
I feel a need for change as they're slow and constantly needing print-head cleaning.
The HP is new, and fast but perhaps over-saturated, Canon's Pixma 6600d is up-to-date but said to be slow (by PC Advisor) and maybe expensive to run.
Oh for some advice from actual users of these models.
