An off-the-cuff comparison with the Medion 8385 on offer at Aldi ...
Medion has more RAM, higher HDD capacity, analogue + digital TV, and is priced at £500, plus £140 for 17" res 1280x1024 TFT monitor. (Prices less 1p).
Medion's Intel P4 3.06 cpu has about same no. of successors as Bailey's Athlon 64 3500.
Bailey (call it) includes 19" DVI monitor, intrinsic worth ca £200 if of comparable resolution. Also 'TV out' does not not mean the Bailey receives TV signals.
On the surface the Bailey would appear to me less in value than the £640 Medion, assuming the latter's 3 yr warranty is sound.
