Help req. with Laptop for student.

Hi, everyone - looking for a budget laptop for our student daughter as Christmas pressie, did not really want to spend much more than about £400. Saw this in PC World for £399 and would appreciate your comments, views and alternative suggestions:

If its for student work then it will probably be fine as will any other laptop.

Snap it up and you will be OK for years. Check your student insurance to make sure that it is covered though.

Does she play the sims or any other games? If so this laptop is unlikely to be the best at playing it. Otherwise sounds to be good value for money.
