HELP - low-profile AGP card needed!!

  jukie1366 23:23 26 Sep 2003

Apologies if this is in the wrong section!! I have acquired a Compaq D510 small form factor PC and I wish to upgrade the graphics. Therefore, I need a low-profile agp card WITH a low-profile bracket. Can I find one available in this country? Can I heck!! Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd like at least 64Mb ram on the card. There is an official Compaq/HP option but it is based on aged MX440 technology. Any advice will be ver gratefully received.

Many thanks, Jukie.

I forgot to add that I also need DVI output only.

How about using a AGP riser and the you can fit a more powerful graphics card.

The card can be mounted into the riser it will then be parallel to the motherboard with component side face down to the motherboard. click here for some examples.

I have not tried using one before, but it might be worth looking into.
