help in choosing a laptop to buy

Just been having a look at click here for a laptop. I not after anything fancy but what laptop should i go for:
IBM Thinkpad R31 C1.2GHz 128/20GB CD Modem XP Home £609.82 Quicklinx: 27S1WS

or

Compaq Evo N1015v AMD 1500xp CD/Mdm/LAN/ 14.1 128/20G XPh £645.07 Quicklinx: 28M8WS

Umm...

You dont actually type 'click here' which seems to be what you have done.

Just copy and paste the link in the address bar in Internet Explorer. Make sure its higlighted and then go to Edit then copy. Then paste into the message box. The link may be very long and look strange but as long as it correct it will appear as blue 'click here.

First impression Compaq Evo looks good.

Just got a Medion Notebook from Staples.
Celerion 1.7. 20gb HD, 128mb DDR ram, 3 x USB2,Lan, Firewire,Serial,Parallel and IR. Win xp pre installed but a tad slow with only 128mb ram. Medion will upgrade for £70 plus price of ram.
