Hi all
I am looking at getting a new laptop,my current desktop is approx 6yrs old & needs replacing with something new.
A laptop seems to fit the bill as an 'anywhere' computer.
OK,i have looked at MacBooks & will wait to see what comes out next (this month maybe)
I am out of the loop abit on current specs & laptops in general.
Looking to spend between £500-£600 approx

All ideas welcome

Cheers

Ian

A MacBook is going to be out of your price range as they start at £699, and you can make that £829 if you want a DVD Writer and a reasonable amount of memory.

For my money you can't go wrong with a ThinkPad or Toshiba Satellite, both can be had at reasonable spec with a 15.4" screen for around £600...
